For years, I have worked in professional Theatre & Film behind the scenes in props and costumes, lighting and sound, and as a Scenic Painter with the Western Canada Theatre Company (WCTC) where I found a love of scenic design. This ultimately lead me to art school, after which I worked as a Set Designer, Art Director, Scenic Artist, Costumer and Set Decorator in the Film and Theatre industries and am a member of IATSE Local #891. I have also been a Film Editor on several documentary films and have worked as a Graphic Designer and in Media & PR for Museums and Arts non-profit societies.

I attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University where I was a Fine Arts student, majoring in Painting and Print Making, but also studied ceramics, 2D & 3D design, colour theory, metalwork (not jewelry) and photography. You can see my full (though woefully out-of-date) art portfolio HERE.

Of course, with my arts background, I enjoy a multitude of artistic things within the SCA from charter painting, scroll design and painting, painting in general, a little calligraphy, card weaving, and hand sewing to name a few.

I also enjoy some creative writing and poetry.
